Small businesses shoulder a great responsibility, providing for most of the world’s population. The ability to trade is not a privilege that these businesses should have to earn. That’s why we set out to provide SMEs with no-headache trade finance. So beautiful things can grow out of small things.

What are we working on right now?

We want to refine our KYC/AML processes for SMEs, acquire a pool of SME clients, and build the infrastructure to serve a global customer base by building the simplest way to secure your cross-border trade: A trade escrow that relies on distributed ledger technology and does away with third-party intermediation. We'd love to listen to what you have to say about that.

Where is amebacapital headed?

Imagine, two people you know belong together and have never heard of each other. We think SMEs and retail investors would make for a great love story. More prosaically, we want to tackle information asymmetries and provide retail investors with the possibility to finance SMEs in sectors and countries of their choice. If you find that cryptic, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter, so you’ll be in the know.
